I have never played the guitar before Nathan Smith became my tutor. From my first lesson Nathan made me feel very comfortable. He’s method of teaching and his passion for the guitar has really encouraged me to be the best I possibly can. He is kind and patient with me. He has taught me a great deal about the guitar and music. I am really enjoying playing and will certainly be continuing my journey. I would highly recommend Nathan to anyone wanting to learn. He has a true talent. 10/10

Nathan is very chilled out and doesn't make you feel under too much pressure, he will take things slowly to try and ensure that you understand everything but he's happy to go back and explain things that you may be struggling with. He doesn't seem to become irritated by how disorganised I am or by my attention deficit or my old person brain that forgets things far easier than it allows things to sink in. He might benefit by posting songs, work or routines to be learnt in the mail if his students require it and are happy to pay the bit extra to cover his time and expenses. Other than this I can't fault Nathan and would highly recommend him.

From the first online lesson I had with Nathan I have done nothing but improve , on top of being a great guatarist he is extremely easy to get on with . He can point out the issues kindly which helps the learning process for me . I will be using Nathan for as long as possibly can as I will only progress further into being a good guatarist .

I decided to try and learn the Guitar a few years ago and browsed a few sites on the web to try and get me going from scratch. I made some basic progress but picked up a lot of bad habits along the way. I understood these problems were stopping me from making progress and caused me to lose interest. At one point I really thought I was just too old to learn. I realised that if I was going to make any improvement, I needed a personal tutor who would take time to look at my strengths and weaknesses and help develop a personal plan that could help me make good progress and enjoy the journey I think the Guitar can be a difficult instrument with so many things to learn but it so much easier and fun to learn and understand with the right help. Nathan Is a great guitar tutor and I can agree with all the fantastic comments from his other students. He is highly qualified, very patient and encouraging. He took the time to understand my expectations and discussed how he would plan to help me make the progress and goals I wanted to achieve. I really look forward to our weekly lessons which can be hard work but always fun.
